We are experiencing out of season HOT temperatures right now. The manatee numbers have dropped considerably. If the weather forecast holds true, this weekend should be very nice, but numbers of manatees have dwindled down while they feed in the shallow grass beds outside of Kings Bay. YES, they do come back after a cold evening, such as is predicted this weekend.
